Desert Motorcycle Riders is an organization of motorcycling enthusiasts in Southern California’s Coachella Valley. We’re a riding group. We’re a social group. Our members enjoy the challenging, scenic riding that our region offers and the company of like-minded men and women.

Our riding season runs from October through May. We ride every Thursday. Several times during the season, we also head out on multi-day trips to choice riding destinations in the Southwest.  

Our organized social events include a Welcome Back Party, Dinner Night Out, Christmas Lunch Ride, New Years Party and Spring Party. We are an eclectic blend of men and women with diverse backgrounds. The common bonds being love of motorcycling, the open roads and the camaraderie of like spirits.

When it began in 1993, the club was a just few guys meeting in a parking lot and riding for the day. In 1996 the club was formally organized with an elected President and board members and has operated continuously since its inception. As we grew, we learned from experience. Our number one goal is to arrive back home safely. We train and practice accepted protocols for group riding.

Our club welcomes new riders and take pains to make each and every member feel like part of a family, protected by the skills honed over decades of riding.
